Kforce has a client in search of a Learning Management System Coordinator in Palm Harbor, Florida (FL). Summary: Under general direction of the Director, Internal Training, this position is primarily responsible for the administration of the learning management system (LMS) and coordination functions related to Policy and Procedure Manager (PPM). Through collaboration with various learning and development and/or training associates and other departments across the enterprise, the Learning Management System Coordinator is accountable for successful and effective use of the LMS and PPM. Duties and responsibilities support the administrative and technical aspects of the systems, including but not limited to creating and updating training requirements in the LMS and PPM, setting up instructor-led training (ILT) and online courses, resetting passwords, assigning training curriculums, and entering transcripts. Essential Job Functions:
Oversees LMS and PPM standards for data input, program development, class registration, resource set-up, data retrieval
Oversees the creation and organization of users and curricula within the LMS and PPM
Assists content owners to upload and test course content that will be added to the LMS and PPM system
Create learning objects in the LMS system for various training events
Track and record training completion in the LMS/PPM systems; identify and need for re-scheduling of training
Maintain a process of continuous review, feedback and action in order to spot areas of opportunity, including the creation of SOPs and scripts to automate repetitive tasks if possible
Develop and generate standard and recurring LMS reports as well as build ad-hoc reports as needed for management, audit, etc
Generates and reports post-training assessment results
Monitors and responds to Associate questions and issues in the Xplore Training mailbox on a daily basis
Requires some training in fields such as Business Administration, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Computer Sciences, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education
Normally requires a minimum of 2-3 years directly related and progressively responsible experience within a LMS, including system administrator responsibilities
Knowledge of learning management systems and other learning technologies
Knowledge of project management concepts
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and best practices
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Strong decision-making skills
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in teams
Ability to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and tasks
